Red, like the blood of an animal.

Orange, like the light of a sunset.

Yellow, like the brightness of the sun.

Green, like freshly cut grass clippings.

Blue, like the water at the beach.

Indigo, like the robes of an African nomad.

Violet, like the petals of a "Blue Moon Rose".
