A Celebration of Federation

This particular presentation was done by the 3/4/5 class in our school.

"We are one"

This year the multi-aged group class put on a performance about Federation.

"Travelling by train was very difficult because of the different sized tracks."

People through the ages.

"The six nations should join together and become one nation."

Australians All
adapted from a musical by Deborah Martin

Idjerymunya from the Palku Tribe recites a poem
"This Land Is Mine"

"Harris are you listening?!"

Blaxland- "This way Wentworth. Move along there Lawson.
We've got some miles to cover before dark."

"Oh, We've come to make a new life in this strange and foreign land..."

"Cut! Cut! Stop, stop look man stop mumbling you're supposed to be excited."

"So we're off to make our fortunes!"

"Look! I made my own armour with slits for eyes."
"Don't get too up yourself mate it's only a Milo tin."

"A bumper crop of wheat for us this year."

"G' day mate, how they hangin'?"

" What's for tucker?"

"Australia Today"
It doesn't matter who we are or what we choose to do,
We're all Australian we are one. There's room for me and you,
Let's celebrate our differences and our rich and varied ways
And let us all remember we're Australians Today!

"Thak you Mrs Rickers and Mrs Clark."
