Beacy Choir Excursion - JUNE

The Choir sang at the annual Fremantle/Peel District Festival with 27 other schools in week 8 of term 2.  On the morning of our performance there were 8 other schools participating along with us.  Our performance package consisted of 2 songs, “There’s No Business Like Show Business” and “Charlie Chaplin Went To France”.  Some of the Beacy children danced with top hats and there was full amplification in the hall.  The children also sang 4 mass songs with the 400 other students that attended.  These songs were pre-learned by all attending schools and the experience and acoustics were amazing.  “She Wore an Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”, “Children Sing”, “Get Up! Get Up!” and “Colour My World” were all favourites.
