Station 7: Cargo boats

In Mrs Cunningham’s we had lots of fun investigating cargo boats. We used different recycled materials such as margarine tubs, boat shaped alfoil, meat trays, egg cartons and matchboxes to experiment with.  The students used marbles as cargo to see how much “cargo” each boat could hold.

Some of our boats sunk from too much cargo!!! It was a huge success and we all enjoyed it.
